ARRIVING IN INDONESIA
With its 3 million inhabitants, Bandung, Indonesia, is a quite crowded city, especially at night.
Getting out the traffic jam and finding a parking with free space, you arrive in a typical Indonesian urbanized city.
Its old center and some modern buildings, all mixed, reminding us France and creating this feeling of being in a completely new world. Oriental and Asian houses mixed with towers, western buildings, oriental and Asian architecture.
We couldn’t expect Indonesia so fascinating and beautiful.
LIFE IN BANDUNG
Everything keeps moving all around, there is not any centimeters of free space: motorbikes, cars and pedestrian are all over the avenues.
Okay, it’s not like Time Square with tons of lights and screens, but there is so much life. Street vendors, music, big malls and specialized shops open until 10pm.
Musicians playing in the streets next to mimes; guys disguised and costumed waiting for you to take a photo for some Rupees.
During your tour around the city, you’ll arrive at the biggest mosque of the city where, at the end of Ramadan, local families used to enjoy a good moment together.
